Virtual University Sialkot Campuses (Railway Road and Shahabpura Campuses) organized 2017 Sports gala with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students keenly await for Annual Sports Gala as it provides excellent opportunity for outdoor activities other than academics. Annual Sports Gala 2017 was held on Tuesday 5th December 2017. Large turnout of both male and female students and pleasant weather and perfect sports stadium of VIP sports made the event even more enjoyable. Male Students fully participated in Cricket, Sack race, Badminton, Relay Race, Sprint Race, Arm Wrestling, Tug of War and Push up competition. Girls also Participated in almost all the Sports activities in addition to Spoon Race, Gol Gappa Eating Competition, Tug of war, Musical Chairs, Balloon competition and water straw competition. Apart from sports students were also encouraged to show their inborn talent in the field of Music, songs and dance. Ground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. CEO Sohail Amir Khan also participated in sports and encouraged the students to regularly take part in outdoor games and thanked VIP Sports for the sports facilities and Sialkot Campuses Faculty, Staff and students who helped and organized the sports event. Later he awarded shields and trophies to the winners. Final match of Cricket tournament was played between VU Royals and Crazy 11. It was VU Royal’s day as they were the Champions. The entire event turned out to be an amazing experience both for students and staff members and worked as a medium to channelize the abundant energy in the right constructive direction and helped students to discover their interests in outdoor activities.
